Research Notes
The original birth records for the family of Mathias and Mercy Ellis were partially illegible. A subsequent transcription of this record attempted to compensate for the illegible parts. In this transcription, Experience's birth date was shown as 26 Jul 1687.[3] This date was confirmed by the research of Brownson and McLean.[1]
