She passed away in 1947 in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA where she was a widow and living with her daughter, Anna Bell. She is buried in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, Saint Stephen, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada. [4] There is a detailed biography in her Find a Grave memorial.
