Biography
Albert Emmett was born in Radford, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England in the quarter ending March 1881. His parents were Charles Henry Emmett and Constance (Hancock) Emmett.
Sometime after 1901 Albert joined the British Army and in the 1911 census is listed as being a private acting as a telegraphist in the 1st Batallion, The Sherwood Foresters regiment, and was resident at the Gough Barracks, Trimulgherry, Deccan, India.
Albert married Emily Quinn in the quarter ending December 1917 in the Eccleshall Bierlow registration district.
Albert died in the Sheffield registration district aged 61 in the quarter ending Jun 1954.
