Biography

Catharina was the daughter of Peter Emons and his wife Catharina Richarz.^[1] She lived in the village of Geislar on the east bank of the Rhein River, across from Bonn, and now part of the Beuel District of Bonn.

Catharina married Heinrich Bahn in the community of Vilich when she was 40 years old.^[2] It was Heinrich's second marriage. Catharina became stepmother to five children under age 12, with the youngest age 3.

Catharina was widowed at the age of 67, and died in Geislar at the age of 74.^[3]
