Elizabeth was born in 1832. She was the daughter of John Emrick and Susan Shankle. On March 1, 1848, she married John Henry Young. They had one son, born in 1849. The 1850 census shows Elizabeth and her son living with another family, so she was divorced, separated or widowed by 1850. On March 1, 1853, she married Abraham Davis and they had 11 children. She passed away in 1909 in Warren County, Indiana.
