The 1834 will of Samuel Enyart, shared at the previous WC link, includes the name of Benjamin and all of his siblings, except for Mary. It is likely that Mary is properly identified as sister of Benjamin. Benjamin lived near Clarks in 1820 and Isaac Clark married a Polly Enyart in 1812. Isaac Clark's Polly died in 1814, twenty years before Samuel Enyart's will and the widower, Isaac Clark had also long since remarried.
But, the date that many have given for Mary's birth (15 Arp 1790) cannot be correct. Mary Enyart, wife of Stephen Crane has that same birth date. Crane family History (written1900) shown Mary Enyart married Stephen Crane, May 25, 1809, She was born April 15, 1790 and died July 14, 1832. Steven died Feb 14, 1860. Children from 1810 to 1829. These dates are confirmed by a side-by-side tombstone for Stephen and Mary.
The Mary Enyart, sibling of Benjamin, that married Isaac Clark died in 1814.
On the other hand, Stephen Crane was involved in the estate settlement of John Enyart, who died about 1824. Stephen Crane's Polly is named as one of the children of John and Nancy Enyart. This Polly's siblings are not the same as siblings of Benjamin (this profile.)
Samuel Enyart and John Enyart both came from New Jersey and both lived in Butler County. World Connect postings, showing Samuel and John as brothers, both sons of an earlier Benjamin, are very believable.
