Death: 10 Jul 1739, Prince George, VA [3] Francis Eppes had definitely died before 17 Apr 1745, when his widow, Susannah, and her sisters sold land they inherited from their parents, William Moore and Mary (née Robards):
Surry Co., VA, DB 4, p. 288, 17 Apr 1745: “Susannah Eppes, widow of Prince George Co., and Robert Pettway and wife Mary Pettway to Edward Pettway of Surry Co. £40. 170 acres on north side of Nottoway River (being 2/3 of a certain tract which was coneyed to William Moore and wife Mary Moore on 16 Jun 1718 by John Robards). William Moore and Mary Moore have died and the land has descended to their three daughters as co-heirs to wit Susannah Moore, Mary Moore and Elizabeth Moore. Susannah Moore Eppes and Mary Moore Pettway are selling their 2/3 part of the land). Wit: Christopher Golightly, William Shands. Rec. 17 Apr 1745.” [4]
