Martha was born Martha Eskdale in Whitby, Yorkshire on 1 July 1759/60 and baptised Martha Eskdale on 24 August 1760, Whitby, St. Mary the Virgin, Yorkshire the daughter of George Eskdale & Elizabeth. [1]

She died in 1763 & buried Martha Eskdale daughter of George on 4 February 1763 Whitby, St. Mary the Virgin, Yorkshire.[2]
