Emma Eubank was born on 29 Jan 1904 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, United States,[1] the daughter of John Eubank & Artie (Hatcher) Eubank.
In 1910, Zeona (enumerated as Theona) (6) was living in household of her grandfather James R Hatcher (46) in Lisbon, Bedford with Bertha M Hatcher (46), Clarence Eubank (7), Beattrice Eubank (6), and Blodwin Eubank (3).[2]
In 1920, Zeona (16) was living in household of Artie Hatcher (37) in Columbus, Franklin with Clarence Hatcher (18), Beatrice Hatcher (17), Blodwin Hatcher (13), and Magdalena Ruick (56).[3]
In 1930, Zeona (26) was living in household of James Broadnet (26) in Columbus, Franklin with James Broadnet (26), Mertle M Broadnet (24), Mary E Broadnet (2), Lucy Harriston (60), and Zeona Hattcher (24). [4]
Zeona (28) married Simon Alexander Haley (40) (born on 8 Mar 1892 in Savannah, Hardin, Tennessee, United States; son of Alexander Baugh Haley and Victoria (Jackson) Haley) on 12 Sep 1932 in Madison, Alabama, United States.[5] Their daughter was Lois Ann Haley (1933–2004). They divorced in 1950.[6]
In 1940, Zeona (36) was living in Elizabeth City, Pasquotank with her daughter, Lois Anne (6); and her stepson Julius Haley (9).[7]
Zeona died on 9 Dec 1998 in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States, aged 94.[8] She is commemorated at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland.[9]
