Anna was born on 20 April 1922 in Mahoning, Ohio, United States.[1]

In the 1930 census Anna (age 8) was the daughter of James Evans in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio, United States.[2]

In the 1940 census Anna (age 18) was the single daughter of James Evans in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio, United States.[3]

Anna (age 21), daughter of James Evans & Abbie Heatherington, married Harry E Smith (age 19) on 11 January 1944 in Ohio, United States.[4]

Anna and Harry were divorced in May 1947.

In the 1950 census Anna (age 27), Accounting Clerk, was the never married daughter of James Evans in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio, United States.[5]

Anna (age 36), daughter of James Evans & Abbey Hetherington, married Robert Wayne Rittmaier (age 35) on 8 August 1958 in Ohio, United States.[6]

Anna's son Harry E Smith married Nancy Eckert on 29 March 1971 in Ohio, United States.[7]

Anna was recorded as a resident in from 1 Jul 1993 to 1 Jan 2009 in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio, United States.[8]

Anna (born 20 Mar 1922 age 91) died on 16 February 2014 in Ohio, United States.[9] [10]

March 20, 1922 — February 16, 2014
AUSTINTOWN: Anna Mae Rittmaier, age 91 of Austintown passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Hospice House in Poland. Anna was born March 20, 1022 in Youngstown to parents; James and Abbie (Hetherington) Evans. Anna married Robert Wayne Rittmaier and together they shared their life until his passing in December 1984. Anna worked as an executive secretary for United States Steel Corporation and retired after 30 years of services in 1980 when the mill closed. Anna was a member of Wickliffe Christian Church, Eastern Star, White Shrine and Canfield AARP 3104. One of her passions were volunteering at the Veterans clinic and Steel Valley ex-POW's. Anna was an avid YSU supporter and continued tailgating well into her 80's. Survivors include her grandchildren; Kristen (Michael) Reynolds, Titusville, PA., Todd (Tina) Smith, Struthers, Mike Rittmaier, CA., step-son; Ronald Rittmaier, Massillon, and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, son; Harry "Skip" Smith, sister; Betty Jane Evans, and brothers; James and John Evans. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00am at Wickliffe Christian Church, Austintown. Interment will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
