Biography
When Newell Tate Evans was born on June 2, 1920, in Jacksonville, Texas, his father, Elmer, was 23 and his mother, Lula, was 23. He married Frances Irene Unger on July 13, 1942, in Anderson, Texas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on October 23, 1986, in Palestine, Texas, at the age of 66, and was buried there.
