He married Maria Matilda Coxe 8 Feb 1844, in Washington, District of Columbia. Alexander Hamilton Evans passed away 29 Jul 1893, at the age of 74, in Washington, District of Columbia, and was buried in the Rock Creek Cemetery there.[1][2][3][4]
