Susan Evans is a part of US Black heritage.

Susan was born about 1837. She is the daughter of George Evans and Hester Evans.

She was born an enslaved child. In 1843, she was manumitted by the Will of her owner, Sarah Crippen Evans, and left a cash bequest.

She died after 1850.
