Biography

Miriam was born 18 Jul 1729 at Guilford. She was the daughter of Daniel Evarts and his wife Martha.[1] She passed away in 1799.

Miriam and Archelaus Parmelee were married at Guilford on 4 Jun 1751 at Guilford by Reverend Ebenezer Gaylor[2]. Children:[3]

  1. Rebecca Parmelee, b. 28 Aug 1752; d. unm. 15 Nov 1810
  2. Mabel Parmelee, b. 26 Feb 1756; d. 12 Dec 1843; m. Nathan Meigs[4]
  3. Isaac Parmelee, b. 9 Nov 1759
  4. Eli Parmelee, b. 20 Apr 1762; m. Clotilda Bradley
  5. Elizabeth Parmelee, b. 14 Feb 1768; m. Timothy Evarts

Probate of her estate was at Hartford County, CT. The division of her estate was agreed upon by the heirs 16 Oct 1800.[5]
