Biography

When Joseph Caswell Ewton was born on June 26, 1908, in Fort Myers, Florida, [1]his father, Joseph, was 30 and his mother, Emily, was 16. He married Madge Austin Williams on December 26, 1928, in Warren, North Carolina.[2] They had two children during their marriage. He died on February 22, 1983, in Portsmouth, Virginia, [3]at the age of 74, and was buried in Norlina, North Carolina.
