Biography

Oliver Fairbanks was born in October 1752 in Dedham, Norfolk, Massachusetts. His parents were Benoni Fairbanks and Johannah Lyon. He was baptized there Oct. 8, 1752.^[1]

Oliver was a Private in the Revolutionary War, serving in Captain William Marean's co., Col. Ephraim Doolittle's regt. ^{[2] [3] [4] [1]}

He married Elizabeth Clark on November 09, 1777. ^{[5] [6] [1]}

Together they had these children: ^[1]

He died in July 1837 in Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont at the age of 87. ^{[8] [1]}
