Robert was born in 1822. He is the second son of Robert Faithful and Sarah Neal. Robert was baptised on 3 March 1822 at Chawton.
He worked in Alton as a Servant for Richard Linney, Shoemaker.
Robert moved to Stoke Newington in Middlesex where he was employed as a Groom by Edward T Bond 1, Medical Practitioner of Church Row, Hackney. Robert is now aged 29.
