James and Ruth Hull resided in Morgan County, Illinois in 1850, Johnson County, Texas in 1860 and in Carroll County, Arkansas in 1870 and 1880.
Ruth Hull died 19 Sep 1880 and was buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, Berryville, Carroll County, Arkansas. Her tombstone says: Ruth, Wife of J. M. Hull, Died Sept 19, 1880, 54 Yrs, 3 Mos, 17 Das.[2]
