Isaac Farmer was born in 1711. Isaac Farmer died in 1770 in Edgecombe, North Carolina, when he was 59 years old. [1]

He is mentioned in the North Carolina Gazetteer [2] entry for Farmer's Branch, NC: "Farmer's Branch rises in w central Wilson County and flows s into Toisnot Swamp. Named prior to 1770 for Isaac Farmer, Sr."
