Thomas Charles Farmer ^[1] was born in about November 1860 in Bishop's Waltham, Hampshire. ^[1][2]

On 2 April 1871 in Titchfield, Hampshire, with his stepfather Thomas Jupe, his mother Ann Jupe, his stepbrothers Albert Jupe aged 16 and William Jupe aged 12, his siblings Mary A. Farmer aged 6 and Frederick Farmer aged 3 and his half-brother Charles Jupe aged 0. ^[2]
