Fred was born ^[1] on the 5th June 1885 ^[2] to Thomas Farr and Caroline Sparrow. His Christening ^[3] was the 9th December 1885 in Alcester.

He is in the 1891 census ^[4] living in The Moors, Alcester.

He is in the 1901 census ^[5] living at The Moors, Alcester and working as a Butcher.

He married Annie Revill ^[6] on the 16th August 1921 at The Parish Church, Bolsover. Fred was a widower, aged 35 , a Miner living in Oxcroft Lane, Bolsover, Annie was single, aged 28 and living in Station Road, Bolsover.

In 1939 ^[7] he lived at 55 Oxcroft Lane, Bolsover, Derbyshire, and worked as a Colliery Labourer.

He passed away ^[8] on the 6th July 1954 in Chesterfield aged 69, and his will ^[9] went to probate on the 17th August 1954 at the Nottingham registry.
