Biography

When William Wallace Farrand was born on August 2, 1841, in Fairfield, Vermont, his father, Royce Farrand, was 36 and his mother, Amanda Northrupp, was 31. He married Rhonda Eugenia Sanford on February 7, 1870, in Kansas City, Missouri. They had seven children in 15 years. He died on March 3, 1912, in Plevna, Kansas, at the age of 70, and was buried there.
