Biography

Lydia Cudworth died on December 30, 1858, aged 82 years; she is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Bristol Center, Ontario County, New York.

During the 1850 US Census:

Nathaniel Cudworth, age 77, was living in Farmington, Ontario, New York, with his wife, Lydia, age 74. Nathaniel under occupation is 'home'.

Nathaniel and Lydia were both born in Massachusetts.

Living next door are Edward (age 55), and Harriet (age 48, dau. of Nathaniel and Lydia) Herendeen with their children, Nathaniel, Wilkinson, Welcomb, Gideon, and Franklin. Living with them is Silas Gardner (age 25), Mary A Pritchard (age 20), and Maria Anderson (age 21).

During the 1855 New York Census:

Nathaniel Cudworth, age 83, was living in Farmington, Ontario, New York, with his wife, Lydia, age 79. Their house is built of material 'Frame' and valued at $500. Nathaniel and Lydia report to be married, having lived in this city/town for 13 years, and Nathaniel is a Native voter and Owner of Land.
