Biography

James Farrow was born about 1829 in Selsey, West Sussex. He was the son of George Farrow (alternatly spelt Pharo) and Jane Farne. He was christened in Selsey, Sussex on 18 January 1829. ^{[1] [2]}

He married Frances Hellings in 1863 in Victoria, Australia.^[3]

They had eleven children: Ann in 1864, George in 1865, Alfred in 1868, Frances in 1869, Jane in 1871, James Andrew in 1873, William in 1876, Harriet in 1878, Alice in 1880, Phillip in 1882 and Benjamin in 1884.

James passed away on 25 April 1904 in Geelong^[4].^[5] His remains were buried on 27 April 1904 in East Geelong.^[6]
