He married Susanne Peltier on 26 Oct 1797 in Assumption Church, Sandwich, Essex, Ontario.
He passed away in Dover, Kent, Ontario, on 7 Aug 1843, and was buried in St-Peter's Cemetery, Raleigh, Tilbury East on 9 Aug.
