Biography

Mary Anne Fawson, known as Polly, was born 27th September 1840 in Hanslope, Buckinghamshire, England. ^[1]

In 1841 she was, as you would expect, at home in Hanslope, with her parents and siblings.^[2]

She Married Edwin Bates on 4th March 1861 at Rushall Stafford ^[3]

In 1871, She was in Peckham with her husband & 2 daughters.^[4]

By 1881, now in Camberwell, there were 4 children.^[5]

In 1891, the family are living in Queen's Road, Camberwell and there are 4 children... Clara is married!^[6]

She died on 14th January 1929 in Wandsworth, London, England. ^[7] and was buried on 17th January 1929 at St Annes, Wandsworth, England.
