Clarence D. Fay of Honor, MI, passed away at age 94 on October 27, 2014. He was born to the late Edward Fay and Una Smith in Honor, MI. on June 22, 1920. Clarence married the love of his life Leonore H. Higgins on November 21, 1945. He served in the Army with the 503rd Prcht Infantry in New Guinea S. with the Philippine Island Luzon Campaigns. Clarence was employed by the Benzie County Road Commission for 33 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. He loved to visit with his three Great Grandchildren, Kylin, Kael and Kian Fay. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Leonore; son, Byron Fay; grandson, Aron Fay; brothers, Leroy, Floyd, and Alden; sister, Marvel and Infant sister. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Florida of Mars, PA.; son, Edward D. (Denis) Fay of Honor, MI.; Sister, Thelma Phay of Deming, NM; grand children, Edward Fay of Grawn, MI., Jason Fay of Phoenix, AZ, Mile Rushlow of Lake Ann, MI., Michelle Koenig of Flint, Chuck Rushlow of Davison, Steve Fay of Ashland City, TN., David Lynch of West Palm Beach, FL., Chris Fay of Flint, MI., Cheri Lynch of West Palm Beach, FL., and numerous great grand children. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1 at 1:30 pm at the Champion Hill Cemetery. Pastor Dan Ingersoll will be officiating. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Frankfort & Benzonia.
