Biography

James was born in 1868. He was the son of Thomas W. Featherston and Virginia C. Richmond.[1][2][3]

James died at Washington D. C. on 12 May 1944.[4] He was buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Danville, Virginia on 14 May 1944.[5]

His last name at birth was spelled with no "e" on the end - Featherston. You indicated in the bio you began that it was spelled that way. The preponderance of records spell it Featherston.
