Biography

Concetta Ferreri is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Maestro Francesco Ferreri and Gaetana Inserra, who married in 1797.

Concetta marries Giuseppe Gulotta, son of Andrea Gulotta and Girolama Pomilla, and widower of Antonia Gagliano and of Gaetana Vitrano, on 10 October 1841. Her father has died by this time.^[1]

Giuseppe and Concetta have at least one child, Gaetana (c. 1842).

Gaetana is named after her father's late wife, as well as sharing a name with her maternal grandmother, both common naming traditions in Corleone. I estimate Gaetana is born the year after her parents marry.

Gaetana marries Giuseppe Alfano on 15 February 1863. Her father has died by this time.^[2]
