Giacomo John Ferreri was born on July 27, 1870 in Capestrano, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italia, son of Domenico Ferreri (1823–1910) and Carmela Coppola (1823–1926).

Giacomo married Annina Anna Fontecchio (born on February 27, 1871 in Capestrano, Italy). Their children were:
