Biography
Robert ffrench was born on 6 December 1799, the son of Robert ffrench and Nicola Maria O'Brien.
He married Katherine Eleanor Browne, daughter of Nicholas Browne and Ellen Burke, on 5 July 1830.

He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway. He gained the rank of officer in the 63rd Regiment. He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1824. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway. He lived at Monivea Castle, Monivea Demesne, County Galway, Ireland
Robert died in November 1876 at age 76.
