With regard to your other research note regarding the 1850 Census: Henry, Ann, Edward and Dinah are Matthew's children. Charles, William and Mary are Matthew's grandchildren (children of son, Henry). Ellen is probably Sarah Ellen Fields, also a grandchild and son of Henry. She is identified in later records as Sarah E. Fields.
With regard to one of your research notes, it can be concluded from a newspaper biography for Matthew's son, Edward, that the Fields family migrated to Ohio in 1834. An immigration record probably cannot be found because they traveled from England to Quebec and then overland to Marion County, Ohio. Their destination was probably chosen because a number of families from Willingham-by-Stow (including the in-laws, the Hatfields) had already migrated there.
