Robert was born in 1911. He was the son of William Finch and Mayme DeGarmo. He passed away in 1994.
He married Anna May Hessodoerfer in 1935. Their children were Roberta A. (Finch) Windgassen (1938–2007) and William E. Finch (1944–2002).
Robert passed away on 16 May, 1994 in Ohio followed with burial at the Spring Grove Cemetery (Plot: Garden LN, Section 101, Lot 277, Space 7) in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.
