Peter Findlay migrated from Scotland to United States.
Peter was born on July 15, 1886 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire Scotland.His birth was registered on August 26, 1886 in the Scotland, Statutory Births Records, 644/01 1100, page 367, no 1100. His parents are listed as John Findlay, and Agnes (Carslaw). His father came to America prior to 1888. The rest of the family, (mother Agnes, sisters Agnes and Christine, and one year old John, left Glasgow, Scotland, and arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, on January 6, 1888, aboard the steamship "Austrian". He married Clara May Wallace in Philadelphia, Pa., United States in 1910. They had three children together before his accidental death in 1917. According to his death certificate, Peter was a bricklayer who suffered a fall building a stack, and died from a fractured skull. Peter was buried in Greensmount Cemetery on August 26, 1917.
