William was born in Indiana in 1868.[1] He was the son of Isaac Firestone and Hannah Dirrim. He passed away in Dalhart, Dallam County, Texas, on February 17, 1929.[2][3]
He was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dalhart, Dallam County, Texas, on February 19, 1929.[4][5][6]
William S. Firestone married Amanda E. Knott in Montpelier, Williams County, Ohio, on January 28, 1894.[7]
William S. Firestone was living under the head of household Isaac Firestone in Franklin Township, DeKalb County, Indiana, in the 1870 census,[8] in Northwest Township, Williams County, Ohio, in the 1880 census,[9]as William Firestone, head of household, working as a farm laborer, in Fremont, Steuben County, Indiana, in the 1900 census,[10] William T. Firestone, head of household, working as a farmer, living in Justice Precinct 3, Dallam County, Texas, in the 1910 census,[11] and as William S. Firestone, head of household, living as a farmer, in Dalhart, Dallam County, Texas, in the 1920 census.[12]
