Nicolaus Fisch was a Volga German.
Nicolaus Fisch, 33, Kath, Ackerbauer aus Frankreich, Montain, Fr.: Catharina, Ki: Herman age 1, Margaretha age 12 in der Kolonie eingetroffen am 2.8.1766.
He moved from Chasselois to Herzog.
He married his second wife before 1798, he married Barbara Welter the widow of Hermann Mertz. They are in Herzog in 1798, with his adopted son: Georg Linsberg from Mariental and Barbara's daughter Katarina Merz, whom Georg had married.
Nicolaus Fisch died 11 February 1807, age 71. [1]
