Biography
James was born in Jan 1871 in Worthington, Greene County, Indiana to Daniel (or Nathan?) and Rebecca (Conder) Fiscus.[1]
In 1920, James and Josie were living in Benton Township, Adair County, Missouri. Both were working at the county infirmary -- James as superintendant (looks like of the farm there?); Josie as a housekeeper. Six children are listed in the census, as well, ranging in age from 18 to 2 -- William, Melvin, Vinessa, Zella, Chester and Lillie.[2]
James died on 24 Aug 1960 in Kirksville, Adair County, Missouri. He's buried in the Refuge Church Cemetery in Adair County.[1]
