Biography
Mary E. Fisher, daughter of James and Mary (Gilleland) Fisher, was born 16 Oct. 1815 at Haywood County, North Carolina.[1]
She married Samuel H. Monteith, son of Thomas S. and Sarah (Gribble) Monteith, [1]
Mary died on 15 Aug. 1884 at Oconaluftee Indian Village, Swain County, North Carolina and was buried at Monteith Cemetery, Swain County, North Carolina. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone and links to those of family members. [1]
