Biography

Anne Fisher was daughter of Edmund Fisher, Vicar of Linton in Cambridgeshire [1] and his wife, Sarah Trott.[2] Her mother died in 1785. [2]

In 1800 her brother, Edmund, married Mary Collin, [3] daughter of of John Collin and his wife, Ann Martin. two years later, on the 10th of April 1804 at St Mary Linton Anne married her brother's brother-in-law, the Reverend John Collin, Rector of Quendon in Essex. [4] The ceremony was likely performed by her father.

In 1841, their children all grown, John and Anne were still living and working at the Rectory in Quendon [5] and continued to do so well into old age. [6][7]

John died at Quendon on the 18th of November 1861. [1] Ann lived another five years dying in 1866, her death being registered at Saffron Walden. [8]
