Biography

Elijah Fitch was born on the 14th of December 1749.^[1] He was the son of Benajah Fitch (1721-1805) and Sarah (Palmer) Fitch (1726-1819).^[1]

He first married Elizabeth Mix in 1773. They raised five children.

1. Seth Fitch, 1774–1822
2. Sarah ( Sally) Fitch, 1778–1839
3. Lucinda Fitch, 1784–1828
4. Benjamin Fitch, 1787–1832
5. Chester Fitch, 1794–1849

His second marriage was to Mary Corning the 10th of October 1811.^[2]

He passed away in 1830.
