Nita (Fittler) Cox was born in New South Wales, Australia
Nita married[1] Albert William Cox on Wednesday, 5th January 1949 in St Mary's Catholic Church, Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia.

- The marriage was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Presbytery, by Rev. Father H. McKillop, on January 5th, of Nita Maria, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Church Street, Mudgee, and Albert William, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Cox, Brooklyn", Tallawang. The bride's sister, Patricia, assisted as bridesmaids, while Kae and Jill Phillips (cousins of the bride) were flower girls. Mr. J. E. Taylor, of Baradine, friend of the groom, was best man. The honeymoon was spent at 'Lapstone Hotel', Gosford and Terrigal, and the future home of the young couple will be in Mudgee.
Together they had one child.
Nita passed away on Wednesday, 5th August 1998, late of Mudgee[3], New South Wales, Australia, aged 71 years, 17 days, and is interred[4] at Mudgee Cemetery, Buckaroo, New South Wales, Catholic Section, Row A.
