Elizabeth FitzLewis was born circa 1436 at of West Horndon, Dunton, Igrave, & Cranham, Essex, England; Age 22 in 1458.[3]
She married Sir John Wingfield, Sheriff of Norfolk & Suffolk, son of Sir Robert Wingfield and Elizabeth Goushill, circa 1455.[4]
They had 12 sons (Sir John; Sir Edward; Henry, Rector of Baconsthorpe; John, Esq. (the younger); William, Esq; Sir Humphrey; Sir Thomas; Sir Robert; Walter, Esq; Lewis; Sir Richard; & Edmund, Esq.) and 4 daughters (Katherine, wife of Robert Brewse; Elizabeth, a nun; Anne, wife of John Echingham; & Elizabeth (again), wife of Francis Hall). [5]
Elizabeth FitzLewis left a will on 14 July 1497. Her estate was probated on 22 December 1500; Buried at Letheringham, Suffolk.[6]
