Lt. Lord Charles Oliver Edward FitzRoy was born on 13 July 1923, at Thetford, Breckland Borough, Norfolk, England, United Kingdom. He was the son of Charles Alfred Euston FitzRoy, 10th Duke of Grafton and Lady Doreen Maria Josepha Sydney Buxton.

Education

He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.

Military Service

He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.

Death

He died on 6 August 1944 at age 21 at Normandy, France, killed in action.
