Frances (Fitzmaurice) Harding was born in Ireland.

Frances was born in 1842. She was the daughter of Arthur FitzMaurice and Henrietta Frances (Fanny) Cary.

She married Falkiner Minchin Harding on 27 April 1864 at St Anne's, Leighlin, Carlow. The witnesses were Arthur Fitzmaurice and her brother in law Jonathan Harding:

Harding and Fitzmaurice— April 27, in St. Anne’s Church, Carlow, by the Rev. James Elliott, incumbent of Crumlin, uncle the bride, Falkiner Minchin, second son of Robert Harding, Esq., Tullamore, to Frances, eldest daughter of Arthur Fitzmaurice, Esq., J.P., Kelvin Grove, county Carlow.[1]

Theirs was the first marriage to take place in the new church which was consecrated in the month of April 1863 and was known as 'The Bruen Testimonial'.

They went on to have about fourteen children.

Her husband was a Wine Merchant.

Both her parents died in 1892.

Ireland Census Event Date 1901: Recorded in the household of her brother in law Reverend Canon Charles William Harding at Willowfield Parsonage, My Lady's Road (Ormeau, Down), Ireland. Aged 58. With her was her 64 year old husband Falkiner, her husband's 20 year old New Zealand born nephew Charles Edward Litton Harding, and one servant.

Ireland Census Event Date 1911: Living in Wellington Place (Pembroke West, Dublin), Ireland with her husband, three of their children Arthur, Alex and Kathleen and two servants. Aged 68.

Her husband died in 1911.

She passed away in 1933 at the age of about 90.[2] Her will was proved on 30 December 1933 at Dublin to Frances Annette Mahaffy, widow. Effects: £2886 12d. 8d. in England.

Last address: 27 Wellington Place, Clyde Road, Dublin, Ireland
