Catherine was born 12 June 1791.[1]
She married Morris Beam (-1822)[1]
Catherine died Dec. 9, 1853, according to her tombstone, at Presbyterian Cem. in Fairmount, New Jersey. The stone says Catherine was wife of Morris Beam, and she was aged 62 yrs 5 mos 25 dys [2]
Children:
- Annie[1]/Anna Fleming Beam, was b. 13 Feb. 1810; d 2 March 1892, the daughter of Catherine Fleming and Morris Beam. She married William W. Apgar. Anna & William are buried in the Presbyterian Cem. in Fairmount, New Jersey.[3]
- George, b. 31 Oct 1812; unmarried.[1]
- Elisabeth b. 6 Aug 1815; m. Andrew Seals.
- Catherine, m. Isaac Ader
- Ebenezer; m. out West.

Not proof of course, but there were no other Flemings but the family of William Fleming in the area at the time implying very strongly that Catherine Fleming Beam Hoover was the daughter of William. His two brothers were in New York State by then and his cousins in Sussex County. William was the son of John Fleming, son of Andrew Fleming of the so-called Bethlehem Flemings.
