Biography
Thecophylous was born in 1577. He was the son of Richard Fletcher and was baptised at Rye, Sussex. [1]
Theophilus had his will drawn up on 20 Mar 1598/9 describing himself as a gent, late of London, now of Bristol. [2]He noted that he was "now bound for Ireland and fully determined to serve her majestie in the warres there", making bequests to and mentioning:
