Charlie Flynn died about 50 years of age blood poisoning he was trimming his toe nails with a pocket knife, and cut himself Charlilie was one of the superintendents of the saw mill in Deward it's a ghost town now nothing but old foundations and a cemetery on a hill to the northeast of the town ,Maurice Gorman was the blacksmith shoeing the big draft horses that pulled the logs from the woods as well as making things for towns people, He also maintained the train.

Tom Flynn was the train engineer hauling lumber to Grayling, Tom lost his life after being caught in the coupler of a train car a car started rolling on it's own he had his back to it, I think I was 3 or 4 I remember going up North to the Hospital my mom was with him when he died, the staff and doctors were showing me around while she was with Tom, I remember a escape chute in case of fire I wanted to go down it of course they said no, Dora actually live over by the Sparta airport behind the farm, some previous tenants of hers she bought a small farm 40 acres and they took care of her.
