Biography

George was born about 1751. He is the son of William Ffoote and Ann Miller. He passed away about 1791. [1]

George did not marry Sarah White or Elizabeth House. They were both housemaids in the Foot family home, and were seduced by George. Sarah Caines was also a servant for the family, but because her father was a Church Warden in Buckland Newton, the Caines family had a higher standing in the community. This is why George was forced to marry Sarah when it was found that he had gotten her pregnant too.
