Wesley Thomas Ford was born on February 26, 1887 in Fairmount, Somerset, Maryland, United States, son of James Mitchell Ford (~1842–>1900) and Sophia Frances Windsor (~1850–<1900).

In 1900, Wesley (13) was living in the household of his father J S Ford, along with his siblings in Fairmount, Somerset, Maryland.[1]

Wesley (18) married Edna Viola Lee (18) (born on June 7, 1887 in Baltimore; daughter of William D Lee) about 1906 in Baltimore. Their son was Frank Howard Ford (1911–1973).

In 1910, Wesley T (23) and Edna Ford were living in the household of Edna's mother Elizabeth Lee in Baltimore, Maryland.[2]

Wesley registered for the draft for World War I. [3]
