Jean was born 29 Dec 1875 in Coulter, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Jean was the child of Alexander Forrest and Agnes Watson.
In 1881 she was living at Greenaton, Carnwath [1]
In 1891 she was living at Debog Farm, Douglas Lanarkshire[2]
She married John Nicol 27 Apr 1894 in Kincardine, Scotland.[3]
In 1895 she was living at Pittention Cottages Crieff with her husband and children.
Jean passed away 5 May 1897 in Auchloy Farm, Fowlis, Wester, Scotland

Private Nicol
Jean ( Forrest ) Nicol was my great- grandmother. The family story is that she died in childbirth when my grandfather David Nicol and his twin Agnes were born. My understanding is that Agnes did not survive and David was raised by his mother's family the Forrests. My great- grandfather John Nicol emigrated to British Columbia , Canada . I met him shortly before he died in 1964
